Roti, Bread & Rice - The Main Culprits against Weight Reduction

Many people are joining Saaol & following Saaol's Zero oil food for weight reduction. Most of them are able to reduce 10-20 kg. without a lot of efforts. But some of them still are not able to reduce. The main cause for these failures are good intake of Roti, Bread & Rice. They give up high calorie fatty items, avoid oils but carry on with their intake of cereals (specially breads, cjapati & rice). Ultimately they are not able to reduce body weight. Since I came across some cases like this I thought I must highlight these for our followers. Bread : This is nothing but a high calorie carbohydrate but is available in every household. It has minimum oil but has good amount of solid carbohydrate. One slice of bread is about 80-120 calories depending on the size. If you have four slices in the breakfast you have crossed 400 calories easily. So, please avoid bread. Instead of bread , try to have breakfast with boiled vegetables, fruits & juices. Roti : Roti or chapati is also a high calorie food & has solid carbohydrate. One small chapati without Ghee is about 100 calries. One parantha or Tandori roti is about 200-250 calories. One naan is about 200-250 calories. If you plan to complete your lunch in 350 calories two small dry chapattis are what you should take. The dinner should be only one such chapatti. Adding one spoon of ghee or butter will further soil your efforts by adding another 50 calories. To fill up your stomach please take a lot of salads, vegetables & soups before or during your lunch or dinner. Rice : One small bowl of cooked rice is about 100 calories. It is always added by Dal which also has some calories. Some people have rice after consumption of two three chapattis. This easily makes the lunch or dinner about 500 calories. So, if you decide to have rice do not combine it with chapati. Take half a bowl of rice but add a lot of cooked Ziro-oil vegetables on it. This will give a filling sensation to your stomach. Other smaller culprits, who hinder weight reductions are banana, mango, noodles, sweets, roasted gram or channa, idli, dosa, gram roti, potato, dalia, cornflakes & dates. Adding oil, ghee or butter is like "murdering" the weight reduction plan. On the other hand remember if you wish to increase weight Roti, Bread & Rice can be a great help along with the other foods mentioned above. But avoid oil, fat completely if you want to prevent or reverse heart disease.
